Since 2003
We have been providing our services in Canada and the United States since 2003. Our team has an abundance of experience creating and preparing structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication and erection drawings.
We offer over 30+ years of combined experience in the steel construction industry, specifically using Tekla Structures 2019i, with the ability to upgrade our licenses at any given time.
To ensure our commitment to our clients are met and exceeded, we are focused on quality, accuracy and organized final products. Our projects range anywhere from 10 tons to 5000 tons.
Our Team
Daryl Richardson
Daryl has over 35 years in the construction industry. With 5 years Post Secondary education in structural engineering, to earn his diploma in structural engineering at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. He also brings 25 years of construction management with engineering companies, general contractors, and steel detailing companies.
After successfully completing the official Tekla Structures training course, has become one of the industries highest qualified Tekla steel detailers in North America.
In the past 25 years, and working with some of the largest, as well as small local community fabricators, he has completed over 600 projects using Tekla Structures all over North America. Project ranges have been from 10tons to 7000tons.
Chelsey Richardson
Chelsey holds a Bachelor’s degree from Vancouver Island University. She brings 8 years of experience in the construction industry to Pacific Coast Steel Detailing Ltd., the past 2 years as a Senior Project Manager and Senior Steel Detailer.
She has managed multiple teams for projects ranging from less than 100 tons to over 2000 tons of steel, and has extensive experience in modelling and detailing projects using Tekla Structures.
She is extremely detail oriented and able to thoroughly communicate with multiple different fields that are involved on projects.
